Doc Camp 2016 in Riding Mountain National Park

If you’re a young, aspiring documentary filmmaker with some basic experience in writing, editing, shooting, directing or storytelling, then we’re looking for you!

MTS Stories From Home, in partnership with Assiniboine Community College and Dirty T-Shirt Productions, will stage Doc Camp 2016 in Wasagaming, Manitoba (Riding Mountain National Park) July 11 to July 15.

Led by award-winning director Andy Blicq, Doc Camp participants will team up to produce short documentaries touching on the themes, events, people, and history of Riding Mountain National Park. These program will screen at the Riding Mountain National Park Film Festival and be broadcast on MTS TV to a provincial audience.

This 5 day camp is an opportunity for you to use real TV production equipment under the mentorship of industry professionals. Doc Camp is free to attend but attendees must provide for their own transportation, accommodation and meals.┬áRegistration is limited to 15 and the age range is 14-19.
